In the Primary Years (Year 1 to Year 6), your child will develop a desire to explore, broaden their thinking and build strong foundations via the four pillars of our Vision geared towards evolving the holistic Child. Our supportive, inclusive environment ensures each child is understood and valued as an individual.
Educational programs are individual and inclusive, with a focus on meeting the different learning needs. Students remain with their class teacher for the core learning areas of English, Mathematics and Science. Class teachers also focus on the wellbeing of your child, ensuring that their safety, social and emotional needs are met, checking in frequently with the parent. Our specialist teachers take their classes in dedicated facilities for Physical Education, Art, Music and Library. Religion is a compulsory subject in the Primary Years.
CURRICULUM
In Years 1 and 2, Pupils maintain a core focus on developing strong fundamental literacy and numeracy skills. In Years 3 to 6, we continue to develop inquiry skills, empowering and supporting our learners to develop their critical and creative thinking skills, cultural understanding, and social experiences.
Planning and teaching for all learning areas follows the Cambridge Curriculum.
